Cité Perdue
Lost City
Remnants of ancient concrete constructions stand in a misty and mystical environment. Waterfalls flow from cliffs inspired by wrapped bales, taken from the photos of Bernard Langenstein.
Here they are stacked on top of each other, taking also the appearance of rocks. Concrete is reminiscent of a current building material, which may suggest that this landscape is drawn not from the past, but from the future.
A future where nature mingles with constructions.
This artwork was made in the Château de Charmes, in La Drôme (South of France), and was part of the circuit of the Biennale de Lion 2019
