RESEARCH: The intervention operates like a biological graft, where floral-inspired curves merge with the wood’s cellular structure. Hand-painted with authentic walnut stain, harvested and crafted by the artist, the delicate color play honors the noble fiber. This scientific precision transforms a rigid implement into a vibrant sculpture, where beauty serves as a healing interface.
CONTEXTE : Cette œuvre explore la métamorphose d’une batte de baseball souvent perçue par le prisme d’une violence latente. Par l’appropriation de cet objet iconique, le geste artistique recherche une guérison esthétique, neutralisant sa tension agressive. La forme brute s’efface pour laisser place à une identité contemplative : celle d’un artefact poétique.
RECHERCHE : L’intervention évoque une ascension naturelle, où les courbes florales grimpent l’objet comme des rayons solaires stylisés fusionnant avec la fibre du bois. Peinte au brou de noix véritable, récolté et fabriqué par mes soins, l’œuvre honore la noblesse des matériaux naturel.
